An Either/Or Situation!
Rom 6:23. God says, "all have sinned!" Rom 3:23 God says, "the wages of sin is death!" You either receive Jesus Who paid your debt or you will pay it!
How Do You See Yourself?
If you see yourself as basically good, you can't really appreciate what Jesus did for you on the cross! Isa 64:6 "all our righteous acts are like filthy rags!"
Joy & Obedience!
It's hard to follow God without knowing Him & His love for you! They bring joy! Seek & pray for it! Heb 12:2 "For the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross."
