In July of 2010, I sent several text messages to my grandson, Hunter, who was 16 years old. He asked if I would start sending him "a saying" every day for encouragement.  Initially I said “NO WAY”, that I couldn’t possibly write something everyday, nor would he really want to hear from me that often.  After his assurance that he did and God speaking in my head and heart, I agreed to give it a try. Much to my surprise, it just spread from there!

His older brother, Taylor who was 18 at that time, was instrumental in helping me with ideas and a name for the website. He gave me a lot of encouragement.

My nephew, Jacob designed the logo and helped me get started with the website. It’s been a family affair!

WOW stands for Words of Wisdom. My initial texts to Hunter were Words of Wisdom with love from Grandma. As it grew, it was shortened to WOW.
