Self Righteousness!
Self righteousness doesn't seem so bad next to other sins. It is! It shows contempt/scorn for God, saying “I don't need You, Your forgiveness or Your sacrifice”.
Pray!
Pray consistently, fervently and passionately for our nation and pray for God to raise up a huge army of people to do the same! God answers prayer! Js 5:16-18
The Power of Hope!
The power of praise! Ps 8:2 "Through praise, You, God, have established a stronghold against Your enemies, to silence the foe." In every circumstance, praise Him!
